Never did the 30 minute thing... but if you want to sprint... I don't mind.
Though I warn you, I've written no less than 3 chapters since yesterday and I'm getting pretty darn close to typing "THE END" underneath this story.
But I'm game!
And I have uh... yeah. Lots of other stories to finish!

I'm not sure I have a favorite book. There are some I've read multiple times, but favorite? Too strong a word for just one.

Let's see, I pick books by:
The cover photo
The title
The blurb
The sale table
Amazon recommendations
Friend's recommendations
Because my mom offered to let me "clean out" her shelves
Online reviews
Newspaper reviews
Because my 1-year old yanked it off the library shelf, and I decided it looked interesting enough to keep
The phase of the moon
serendipity

Of course, this list may help explain why my taste in books is all over the map....

I think you're spot on with the "D" names - gives it a lovely flow. How about Silke DiMonaco? I love the word Monaco.

Hi Silke,

thanks for the link!

Yep, WP 2.6 usability still sucks, despite what Matt M. said would happen. I am not sure exactly what user feedback from where did get included, but it wasn't what people were bitching about on On Blogging Australia, that is for sure.

As to Injader, have you bugged Ben Barden about what you want included in it? He is taking requests :)

Cheers, Andrew

June was by far my best month writing wise.
28 Chapters, the book nearly finished... and then slackmode hit.
At the moment I'm pushing full weeks at work and when I get home... well, frankly... I'm knackered. I just want to sit and vegetate in front of the TV or do something that doesn't tax my brain.
However, since I now have even more damn days to take off before the end of the year, I'll see if I can get a very long week off (by taking 2 days!) and then blast out the words again.
It didn't help that I had a lil problemo that caused me to lay flat on my stomach for nearly a week. Couldn't sit up, it hurt too much.
It's better now, but it really put a dent in stuff I wanted to get done lol.

There must be something in the air because I didn't write much, if anything, this summer either. Of course now I have two stories competing for my attention.

Not looked at that one, but I will try it. :)
At the moment I'm fiddling with Injader. But there is very little support and I don't want to hand code everything, so that one is likely going to be ripped out again.

Just a suggestion hon, but have you tried Blog Engine.net. It's what I eventually want to use for my blog when my hubby has a chance to install it on our server. It does look pretty easy to configure and it might be worth looking into. Word Press can be a bear to work with, I know that because I installed it on two web design clients. I hope you figure it out hon.

For as much as I love gadgets (did someone say shiny things?) my writing organization is still very old school. I use notebooks. I have all my notes printed off the computer, all drafts I'm working from, and all the pictures I use for references stuffed into Mead Flex Binders. I use one per story. I just cannot seem to move to a nearly paperless working environment. I love paper and pens way too much.

I have seen several writers rave about OneNote, I'm giving it some serious consideration.
